48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY FOR APPOINTMENTS
Your appointments are very important to the team JK Skin Aesthetics. Your appointment is reserved especially for you and, while we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary, we respectfully request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
NO SHOW FEES
Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply if you fail to attend your appointment– ‘No shows’ will be charged 50% of the reserved service amount. We respectfully ask our clients to be on time for their appointment. If you fail to be on time the practitioner has every right to re-book your appointment.
Due to the size of our clinic and the nature of our procedures we unfortunately cannot accommodate children unless they are being treated. JK Skin Aesthetics cannot take responsibility for your children and respectfully ask you make arrangements before coming to your appointment.
JK Skin Aesthetics must keep the highest level of hygiene at all times and therefore dog are not allowed in the clinic.
Courses of Treatment
All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment. All treatment courses must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited.
We will honour a full refund on any pre-paid course of treatments on condition that the refund request is made within 14 days of the initial purchase date and that no treatment has been undertaken or received.
Refund requests between 14 and 28 days of initial purchase date will be eligible for store credit only on the condition that no treatment has been undertaken or received. You also have the option to transfer your credit to another person’s name or a non-refundable gift certificate can be made out to the value of the credit.
Courses are not eligible for refund or exchange after 28 days of initial purchase.
We do not honour refunds for courses after 28 days of initial purchase date or that have started with at least one treatment. The client can request a store credit for treatment value unused calculated pro-rata and on condition that the client’s GP provides a letter explaining the reason for the client being unable to continue with treatment.
All course items must be used by the same person.
Products for home use will be eligible for a full refund on the condition that the product(s) is returned unopened and unused within 14 days of initial purchase date. Products returned after 14 days and before 28 days of initial purchase date will be eligible for store credit only.
Injectable treatments are not eligible for refunds or store credit.
We endeavour to undertake treatment to your satisfaction and to meet your expectations. In the event that we do not deliver to your expectations please make your concerns known to the clinic manager who will assist you to the best of their abilities. Individual treatments are not eligible for a refund or store credit. The practitioner, Aesthetician, Therapist have the right to refuse treatment anytime if client is rude or abusive, client is not fit (due to client being ill or otherwise).
Whilst we are reluctant to charge for any cancelled or ‘no show’ appointments, this is having a detrimental impact on our services to clients who are on the cancellation list and who cannot be accommodated due to lack of notice/no notice being given to cancel. As a result, if you fail to provide 24 hours-notice to cancel your appointment there will be a 50% charge.
Offers will be given a life span and expire after the date given. JK Skin Aesthetics has the right to change offers on a regular basis.
A top-up is a treatment that is available to maintain a treatment or course that you have previously received with us. Top-ups treatments are not free and will be charged accordingly.
VOUCHERS, OFFERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any change to these terms will be posted on
the JK SkinAesthetics website (www.jkskinaesthetics.com).
JK Skin Aesthetics will honour these offers in conjunction with the expiry date of that individual offer.
JK Skin Aesthetics reserve the right to substitute offers in the event of circumstances outside its control.
JK Skin Aesthetics vouchers/offers is open to individuals only and is not available to members of a group or club. Neither the club nor any offers are transferable or
The vouchers & offers are not exchangeable for cash, other gift vouchers, or any other excluded category of products and can only be used as explained on promotional material.
Clients are only permitted to hold one card/programme account.
If no transaction occurs by a member in any 6-month period, the member's card/club may expire and any offers may be cancelled.
Any vouchers or rewards vouchers issued to a cardholder are subject to the terms and conditions printed on the voucher and detailed in this document.
A cardholder/voucher holder is responsible for looking after the rewards vouchers and JK Skin Aesthetics is not responsible for any lost or stolen vouchers.
JK Skin Aesthetics is not responsible for any errors resulting from fraudulent use of the Voucher scheme.

Any prize vouchers or rewards vouchers issued to a cardholder are only permitted for use on skin and laser treatments only. Rewards vouchers cannot be used for any injectable or nurse/Doctor led treatment or retail product. Prize vouchers or rewards vouchers issued to the cardholder are only permitted for use of payment towards for certain skin and laser treatment offers and promotions, this is at the clinic manager’s discretion.

JK SKIN AESTHETICS COVID 19 POLICY
We are determined to carry on and to stay in touch with new and existing clients. In addition to emailing, we have put in place other ways to speak to our practitioners by phone, video or face time calls if anyone requires a consultations to discuss treatments we offer, concerns regarding skin, lesion removal or skincare. JK SKIN AESTHETICS POLICY
All of us have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. JK Skin Aesthetics wants to play our part in halting the spread of this virus and have a duty of care to all our customers and employees some of whom fall into a vulnerable category. As a clinic we have complied with our medical bodies to follow strict guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone.
Our priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the salon we have implemented a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of.
During the time the clinic has been shut, our Aestheticians have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry. JK Skin Aesthetics already have medical practitioners/professionals on our staff that are GDC (General Dental Council) and GMC (General Medical Council) regulated and that are specialist in cross infection. We have since made a number of changes in the way that we operate that you will notice when you next visit.
If we/any of our staff feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, we will self-isolate immediately and not come into the clinic. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book again.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. If you are feeling unwell or getting over an illness which is not related to Covid 19 PLEASE DON’T VISIT THE CLINIC. We have amended our booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to illness.
We will stagger diaries times so that not every treatment starts at the same time to keep in-line with social distancing. We also will be increasing the time between appointments so thorough sterilisation and cleaning can be performed between clients.
Visiting the Salon
For your safety and to maintain social distancing, we ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving. Arriving late for an appointment also may result in your treatment being cancelled and rebooked.
We will continue with our strict cleaning regime of all common surfaces, toilets door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client.
All tools and equipment will be disinfected and sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions and government health authority guidelines for your safety.
Wherever possible we will utilise environmentally, friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross infection.
As you enter the clinic you will be provided with shoe/foot coverings and then required to wash your hands with soap and hot water before your treatment, we will also have hand sanitiser available for you to use when you come into the clinic.
We will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a face mask or wear disposable gloves when you visit the salon and during your treatment if this is appropriate.
Please don’t be surprised or upset if we use personal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatment. This will include disposable gloves / face masks / aprons/ hair protectors/ goggles where appropriate. Additional PPE will be worn where required for specific treatments.
We can confirm that the laundering of clinic towels and uniforms is a priority we can assure you that all clinic laundry is washed at 60°C
All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area every day.
We have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely, we have decided that facial treatments will be using steam a consultation will be held priory to facial treatments.
During your treatment
We understand the importance of hand hygiene and we will ensure that we wash our hands in according with NHS recommendations.
We will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments please let us know and we will do what we can to satisfy you.
After the treatment
In order to avoid handling of cash, we would prefer if you could pay for your treatment by card / or in advance using bank transfers.
All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
